Ros turns 94 years old on Saturday June 15, 2013! To celebrate Ted and Kathy took Ros out for dinner. After a meatloaf dinner, the waitresses brought a piece of cake with a candle in it and sang "Happy Birthday." Then we drove over to the high school where Lucie and her friends were doing "Relay for Life." Ros enjoyed seeing all the crowds of young people and Lucie and her friends came by the car to say hello. He is doing well; health is the same. He still has his funny quips and is quick to smile. So sweet and easy. We are grateful.

Pappa with Mia and Lucie
This photo was taken at Bertuccis when
Mia surprised Lucie for her birthday dinner!
Ros was a happy grandpa.
Ted, Ros and Kathy took Lucie and her 5 girlfriends to Bertucci's to celebrate her 15th birthday. The old reliable Dodge Caravan was rocking with the six girls singing away to Bruno Mars at the top of their lungs!
Mia, 19 year old grand daughter at UMASS Amherst, surprised everyone with a 24 hour visit for Lucie's birthday. Ros was tickled to see Mia! He opted out of the dessert which was an excursion to Pinkberry. Enough excitement for the day!

Spring Forward
Ros with 15 year old grand daughter Lucie before her semi formal dance in December.
All is well with Ros and it has been so good and so routine that we have not posted in six months!! He is still into his puzzles (300-500 pieces) and going 3 days a week to Spectrum Adult Health in Beverly. Arlene, Sandy and Marie have been wonderful weekly caregivers who keep Ros company during the week. We were also grateful to another friend/caregiver, Jo Ellen, who checked up on the condo in Mt Dora during her Florida vacation. Anyone interested in a very nice condo in Florida? Have we got a deal for you!
Ted and Ros enjoy lunch out just about every Saturday. They discovered a new adorable lunch spot at the Beverly Depot Diner in February. More recently, Ros enjoyed watching through the windows - the 8+ inches of snow that fell last Friday. Because of the slippery roads, he had a day off from Spectrum which was totally OK with him!
We did make and give Ros his own "Facebook" for Christmas. Each page has a picture of one friend/family member with a description of his relationship to that person. It is helpful for him to know who is coming to visit. He studies it and reviews it especially if we are expecting a "Ros' Facebook member" to visit.
Send us a message anytime and we will be sure to pass it on to Ros!
